In 1957, Late Mr. Shafi Shabib Al-Ajmi owned only one Truck and which has been used to transport the materials from one location to another as well as to transport passengers too.

During the same time a joint-venture project has emerged with investments from Saudi, Japan and Kuwait. The work there commenced in Khafji area which lies at Saudi-Kuwait border. On the same project Mr. Shafi was assigned to lift laborers. The Japanese contractor also requested him to supply a large amount of manpower for the execution of the project owing to the fact that Kuwait was the closest country to the project location. In compliance with this demand, Mr. Shafi concluded his first Manpower supply agreement with the Japanese company in 1959. He confidently supplied Excavation and Loading labors on rent contract basis. Thereafter, he rented a Loading Truck to cope with the increasing work demand and then he started taking on lease Trucks one after one and this trend continued till his next generation. Shadow Group of Companies had to acquire Trucks not only from Kuwait but from abroad too to fulfill local demands. And now Mr. Mohammed Shafi Al-Ajmi is escorting Shadow Group of Companies into higher dimensions of successes.
